These are my white fwp - my Wilma Flintstone Look. The smaller are my biwa sticks. They need to be re-strung somehow...but I really like their shapes and lustre. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have beautiful and interesting pearls.

Well I thought I had them in there...
Maybe now...

Kelly,
Those are very pretty! Nice photos! Each and every pearl has a story to tell.

Love the FWP! What fun necklaces!

Nice pearls! Everyone needs some gorgeous big chunky lustrous FWP like yours - I have been referring to these as 'wilma's' for a few years now...
They look great on you - thankyou for the neck shots!
Thank you. Those big chunky fwp are so neat to play with if you are a tactile person. I don't have a whole lot of pearls (you've seen most of what I have), but those ones get the most attention. Keshi's are fabulous if you rebel against that perfect round pearl Jackie-O look. Mind you, even I - Jean Girl, have my Jackie-O days. Jackie-O in jeans however...
After looking at the pics of those biwas, I realize they are just not working for me like that. Maybe a bracelet...or with a nice big chunk of something in the centre (apatite?)...they'd look good with maybe three strands together...don't have 3 strands...

Great to see your pearls. Those baroques, esp. are the greatest!
I really like the idea of the Biwa in a bracelet. You have a winner there.
Nice pearls, fabulous neck!Maybe intersperse some gemstones or beads in the biwa necklace? Experimenting is a lot of the fun of having pearls.

I agree Lisa. Maybe I'll go to the local beadshop and get some of that stretchy string/elastic, and do it up that way. I might be able to do 3 around if I use my extras...with a chunk or two of apatite thrown in (they have an aqua-ish overtone). They're cool, but lack zing around the neck, unless you have three strands I'm thinking.
