What a wonderful idea and realization of the idea. A great juxtaposition. Congratulations!

Thanks for so many nice feedbacks.
I calculated that there are 5497 Miles 8846.5 Kilometers between Caitlin and I, so how to manage creating jewelry so far away from each other?
That's what I am going to tell.
First I collected several pieces of meteorites worth being mounted into jewelry. That's not so common because it is made of 97% iron and a lot just look like a piece of plain iron .
Last december, I prepared a set of photo, each meteorite presented with a Japan kasumi pearl and a Tahiti pearl.
See after, guess which one Caitlin choose

    Anna, they all are amazing!
No idea about Caitlin choice, but mine is the upper right with the Tahitian and the bottom right, with the Tahitian.

Love the organic feel of it , and the way each element completes the other! I think the bottom piece is Caitlin's. What a fun collaboration!

Yes, Caitlin 's is the last one, then we exchanged pictured and photos nearly 5500 miles away and here you can see Caitlin's idea, and how conception was going on with several trials of pearls and presentations, what a fun indeed

I am saving up to get the two ginormous pearls I got from Sarah outfitted with the Cliclasp system.

Anna's designs are great, her workmanship is very fine. She has kamokas and she has a nice stash of some of the best Sea of Cortez keshi. She has kasumis and she also has non-pearl items and stones.

She was an absolute delight to work with and her presentation is just so Parisian. Now I have a unique, beautiful, and meaningful creation, one that can be worn a lot.
    I love it!

I really hope more people will get a one of a kind piece from her.

What a truly unique pendant. I love the way the pearl conforms to the irregular surface of the meteorite. The pearl flashes color that is a great contrast to the "host".

After all the above, I just couldn't sleep until I had one of my own just like it.

I'm totally grateful to Anna for the effort, the encouragement, the work, and above all for the talent that went into this piece.

    I love it.

Thank you so much again. This has really been a great fun choosing the meteorite and matching pearl among several; here is the story stelling.
    First was Nora's choice

It is a meteorite from "Campo del Cielo" original shape not recut.
Then Nora chose her Kamoka pearl among a selection of coffe, eggplant, blueish, deep black and finally a strong peacock one was selected.

Then we fixed the draft together.
So that's the way to make a pendant being 2900 km far from each other!
See Nora' pearl on right photo gently put close the meteorite waiting to be set

Besides the symbol of matching space and sea, I find that pearls and particularly circled pearls look wonderful set with that type of material : both are black, one shines, the other does not; one is rough, the other is round and soft... I enjoy contemplating them again and again ... Hope you do
