    Sorry for all the questions, but I have never seen anything like this from a supplier and am intrigued!
    Because it is an anticlastic design, the faint stripes would be hammer marks because it was formed with open stakes (shell forming).

    Yes, the metal came prefabricated. I bought it from Hauser & Miller. If you go their website you can see the description and properties of the bimetal. The stripes are my hammering and I wanted to make texture. The bangle is an open design, a twist on. It was easier to form the curves if I left it that way. The only soldering I did was pearl posts, which I ended up flowing solder up the post into the drill hole which held the post in place then I cut and sanded the post on the back side flat. Hope that helps.

    Absolutly amazing, I like new shapes and designs , and especially mixing gold and silver.
