You must be terribly concerned and find it difficult to be so far away. This is the first I heard about the storm.

Luckily our house is on the lee of the island. A neighbor I called saw a house "explode" and broken trees everywhere but as of this evening, things are OK. I hope to know more in the AM.

I just recieved message from a pearl dealer friend of mine in Papetee that he was fine, no real damage to his house thank god but he said many farms were destroyed.
