Default Cyclone heading for Tahiti. Check the vid. No joke.

Hi everyone, have a look at my wife's little vid about cyclone Oli heading for Tahiti. This will seriously impact the Tahitian industry. At last news all electricity was down but cell phones were still working.

    Josh,

You must be terribly concerned and find it difficult to be so far away. This is the first I heard about the storm.

Luckily our house is on the lee of the island. A neighbor I called saw a house "explode" and broken trees everywhere but as of this evening, things are OK. I hope to know more in the AM.

Not quite day yet in Tahiti so too early to call. Communications difficult because the power company turned the electricity off everywhere, surely for security. Here's a vid from yesterday in spanish (before the cyclone hit). http://es.euronews.net/2010/02/04/el...hiti-y-moorea/
