recent tsunami & earthquakes in Fiji region

HI, I heard on the radio yesterday that there was an earthquake magnitude 8 in the Vanuatu region, and also Tongo an Samoa, that there might be a tsunami in the area. I was wondering if there had been a tsunami in the area. Poor Pearl Farmers! Anyone know what happened out that way?http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/dynamic/fire.html

They cancelled the Tusnami warning. There was only a slight wake on Vanatu, nothing really, thank goodness!
