Has anyone ever used argentium silver findings in their beading work? I was wondering if it was as tarnish resistant as claimed. I was thinking of ordering some findings in argentium silver but would like others' opinions first. Thanks! Kate

Not sure if I am permitted to post links, but you can try searching on the wesbsite called Ganoksin (archives) for many posts on this subject. Here is one such post from this site:

Hope this helps a little.
This has a bit more information. It has a lot to do with how your supplier processes his stock. http://www.ganoksin.com/borisat/nena...um-testing.htm

Hello Pearlcat,
I crotchet necklaces with semi-precious stones. I used Argentium wire 30GA for the last necklace I crotcheted in December and the wires have not tarnished yet. The necklace just sits outside - not in a box or anything and it still looks good.
Hope this helps. The reply might be too late.
Cheers,

No it's not too late!! Any information is helpful because I'm contemplating ordering some clasps this week for some gifts I'm making. Thanks for the info.
