Okay, so I'm a life long republican, but even I have to admit that this lady has STYLE! Love the pearls!

Wow. I usually am not a fan of her fashion, but the outfit, the pearls, the hair. Wow.

I thought it was a touch of Madonna circa 1980's - very fun!

A co-worker notified me of this picture and said that she was sure I'd notice the pearls. She is wearing a double strand and in Michael Kors dress. Link: http://blogs.newsobserver.com/fashio...n-michael-kors

It is a lovely photo of a beautiful woman! What I thought was strange was that they positioned her with the blue curtain directly behind her head, that struck me as strange right away, it seems distracting-------------------or is it just "Picky Pattye" again??????

O.K., just a little "Picky Pattye" , but you have a very good point - somebody was not paying attention to rules of photographic composition in that one.

I do love her style, though - pretty and strong and confident and natural...and pearls! A breath of fresh air.

Maybe they can photoshop the curtain to a more pale color, so it blends into the background, ha ha, no chance of that! She should not have to pay full price for that photograph!

I read that she's 5'10", size 12. That's what I am - and I have to say I'm excited to see a tall, athletic woman who actually EATS garner attention for being attractive. And the double strand, IMO, is such a great statement. The huge multistrand in the other pic I admit I don't prefer. But still very pretty.

Here's another good one-- I'm also tall and broad-shouldered, so I always like seeing what the first lady wears. Here she is in a single strand of large white pearls and an off-the-shoulder burgundy wool flannel Narciso Rodriguez, according to another site.
