    Default Natural-color Chocolate Tahitian Pearl

I was going through a potential lot today that was primarily composed of pistachio pearls and happened upon this one so I had to take a picture before I decided to decline the lot.

It is so rare to come across a real chocolate-colored Tahitian pearl.

I hope you offered a little more for it than the per piece asking price on the lot and kept it..

No, I didn't. I probably should have, but the back of this pearl was marred up quite a bit. The lot had too many C pearls mixed in to make it worthwhile.

Hum, very cool to know there is really that color occasionally without being dyed or bleached, etc!

Interesting. I have a two-tone Tahitian - brown on one side and black on the other.

Would this one count? It really is a browny/bronze color. Forgive my attempt at wire wrapping.

I'm curious to see how the marred side looked. Did you take a picture of the back side as well Jeremy, or just the good side?

Just the good side. This was the only clean face on the pearl.
