    Cool Effects of Ocean Acidification

There is a new report from Oceana on ocean acidification, "ACID TEST: Can We Save Our Oceans from CO2?" Look for the link that says "ACID TEST".

Aside from being a great report, deep into the article, there is one of my photographs from Australia!

Great reading for all those concerned about the environment.

Hey, how did one of your photos get there, GemGeek?

    Ok. Got it.

Speaking of concern... this really is quite frightening. All those pearls melting away!

What an in-depth report! CO2 emissions are harming the world in so many crooked ways!
Great picture of the pearl and the oyster, Blaire!

Thanks! They asked me if they could use the photo. Pretty cool.

There is another thread that J Marcus started a while ago about the same subject:

also, an older article from last year, posted on the "Pollution in China" thread.

    Blaire,

A little bit of a late reply to your suggested article from Oceana, but I am going to use it when I go to the "Green:Sustainibility, Significance, and Style" Conference Dec 5-6 in NYC. You might have seen in a previous thread of Green Pearl Activists that I am collecting information. I hope to have a more public forum to pass on a lot of the info that I have read from sources availed to me on P-G. I may be "preaching to the choir", but also I may be able to widen the scope of direction that may come out of these sessions.

Thank you for the info. I am envious that you had your picture published! It's great.

Good Luck! "Judi the Advocate" has a sort of cache', don't you think?

It sounds a little medieval or at least magisterial...
