That is a really cleverly creative and totally lovely design from Pattye! Thanks for posting it here, PearlPoor! I love all of her other designs as well on her webpage....her unique artistic blending of pearls with her native Oregano gems! Well done, Pattye!

Thank you, all my Pearly Friends!

You all are sooooooo very kind and encouraging! Hum, Laura, love your passionate twist on this necklace! This little fellow just sold tonight, and will be headed for his new home in Australia in the morning!!

Laura, I certainly do remember the Breck girls---they absolutely were the example of classic youthful natural beauty------

    Hi PearlPoor,

Somehow, with a little help from you I have hijacked your thread about your Akoya pearls! Perhaps when Caitlin's computer has recovered she can move these last few posts to my thread in the lowly beaders. (Please Caitlin??) I thank you all again for your wonderfully kind comments!

Regarding your beautiful family pearls, Laura, I certainly want you to get some satisfaction and answers. I sincerely hope you are formulating a plan to go, with a witness, and see what you can find out.

    Hi Cathy,

Gosh, I am glad he got there ok! And soooooo happy that you are pleased! I know Do-be is much happier hanging around your neck than draped over the poor old conch shell my Grandpa gave me when I was a baby-------

How many do you make at any one time? Does the koi come carved or so you do it yourself?

    Hi Raisondetre,

The koi came carved, and there was only one available. He was actually a bit difficult to part with. For some reason I had never tried the necklace on right away--when I did it was much nicer on than off, and looked great with my white hair! I'm sure he looks terrific on you Cathy, I picture you with dark hair!

Most items I make are one of a kind. I have some pearls set aside to make up for The Pearl Outlet. I really am going to do it!! Those I would need to be able to duplicate. My mind(??) likes to make each item a bit different! Even when I was about 12 and sewing my own clothes, I wanted something unique! My nicknames were Persnickity Pattye, Picky Pattye, Bratty Pattye and probably a few others!! (OK, laugh, but no snorting!!)
