Yes, it's a cable channel, I would say generally speaking, offers somewhat better quality than HSN, when it comes to jewelry in general. Some top designers do lines especially for them, including Tacori, Judith Ripka, Robert Lee Morris, Ann King Lagos, are a few that come to mind right now.

Checked the pearl case in the local Costco,

    1. Double strand approx 10.5 coin pearl necklace, 14k $220

    2. 6-6.5mm round white fw 18" $240

    3. 3-row oval pearl necklace, 8-9mm $200

    4. white pearl with occasional deep pink pearl lariat with rose gold beads $250

    5. 11-14 kashi (??) bar pearl necklace, drilled through the middle $200

Reminded me again how spoiled we are!

You should look at the costco web site. Its very interesting. They sell high end products online. Well I should say they post high end products. I find it hard to believe they sell some of the stuff they show. I printed some of it out for comparisons. Mine are cheaper.

There was a piece today in USA Today that reflects some of what is happening in the retail market. We sent some numbers over to them for the story.

Of course, for the quality, Costco prices are much much better than a jewelry store.

I agree with Pattye, we are spoiled!!!
