I still have much reading and understanding to do in this thread, but it seems to me to be more than back-scratching. When a company with the status of a Cartier, has multiple quality assurance departments, an impeccable reputation, and has Tahitians on display with the beads showing through, that's a bit more than back-scratching.

    Betty Sue,

\I had no idea you were with Imperial. When did this happen? Well time marches on. You are right about the Burma situation. I have traveled to the country twice. As a board member of AGTA you might care to comment on my previous post on "Paraiba Tourmaline".

As far as I know Betty Sue is not with Imperial. I saw that line in PBazar's post as well and did not completely understand it.
.... As the pearl person also (Betty Sue King) I have learned a lot. In fact Paraiba is now part of my life ....

He meant that Betty Sue is the other pearl authority at AGTA. Betty Sue and Peter Bazar are both on the board of directors and Betty Sue has been the secretary for some time. FYI

Thanks Pattye. You're the best. Represent!
Knotty, you are right of course too. There is a lot more than back scratching going on.
Blaire, your avatar looks like a fish eye to me. I dig it.
