    Default Member Profile Pages

We have a new feature available to all registered members, the option to full customize your personal profile. Here is my profile with some minor color changes: http://www.pearl-guide.com/forum/mem...n-canning.html

There are much more options available to those who really want to customize. If you have any questions post them here and we'll track down the answers for you.

Just click on the profile link in the top left hand corner of the site and the second link points the customization page. There are a bunch of other new features but we'll have more on those later.

    Oh Nerida,

You're sweet! That is a picture of a lady winking; it is on a tray I got at an import store recently! The pearls and sunstone are a long rope. There is a photo of it in "show me your pearls" thread. This avatar is not a very good photo, but I wanted to try reducing and see if I could get it to load. Perhaps I will be able to take a clearer and closer photo tomorrow. Someday(maybe) I will put my photo up on the profile page. As any of the P-G'ers who have met me will attest, I am just a fluffy, silver-haired NCN Grandma!

Woo Hoo! John's booth is like a mini-Tucson. Did you see the golden ssp strands?

Pattye, I am glad you chose to use the pearls with sunstones - I always think of you when I see sunstones now!

Does this John Tu ever come to shows out East?

    Hi Michelle,

I think it is a traveling show with many multiple vendors, www.GemFaire.com, and comes to a number of western area locations, but there must be something similar on the east coast. Guess I would email them at info@gemfaire.com and see if they schedule or know of any east coast shows. Looks like Tulsa, Ok is as far east as they go, and not all vendors are in each show. John said he doesn't go to all the shows. I am just learning how all this works! Good luck!!

No, I missed the golden ss--durn!! He was drilling some pearls to go on a leather cord for a woman, and broke the pearl and drill; they were working on the top of that case---I was mesmerized by all the keishi--and trying to pick out all the best ones, ha ha, like anyone could possibly do that----besides Blaire------!!

We have something called the Gem Miner's Jubilee out this way. Probably too small for JT as it is housed in a single building. :-)
