    Default 4-strand Freshwater choker

Here's a 4 strand choker I just finished for a customer. Nothing too unusual but the inner strand is just 14.5" so it gives it almost a pearl "bib" look which I really like.

Kevin, I love this necklace!!! What size are the pearls? Now I have to add another item on my growing list of desired items.

just 7-8mm AA+ FWP, so it really was quite reasonable for the customer.

    Hi Kevin!

That is lovely indeed! 14.5-inches is teeny weeny!! Never in a million years would that fit me lol. I also like the fact that you left the bar spacers out of the choker- it allows the pearls to drape more gracefully. Good work!

Elegant and classic! A most desirable piece! I trust your customer loves it! 14,5 wouldn't go 'round my neck either...

I agree with Olga. I could see the Duchess of Windsor in that. Of course, she had a tiny neck as well.

Looks stunning and has a lot of character. I can see the complete image before my eyes when looking at the choker - dress, hair, everything, even music from some old movie... fascinating!

14,5" is 36,83 cm, I measured my neck and that strand would be very tight, so the customer must have a very slender neck not to feel uncomfortable, but it is a lovely necklace, and this is what I would call a formal necklace. Nice for theater evenings or the like....

Yes the customer's wife is very petite, around 5' or so. They also wanted a very snug choker, so this is what we came up with.

and this is what I would call a formal necklace
Definitely not a necklace you through on with a t-shirt to go get groceries - or is it

Very pretty choker! Coincidentally, I am stringing up something similar for a friend who was subjected to a neck dissection after being diagnosed with a malignancy in one of her salivary glands. She is also a petite 5 foot tall. The 4 strand choker will be a lovely way to hide the scars on her neck when she goes out for special occasions. I personally think multi-strand pearl chokers are great for any occasion...

As for the t-shirt and going for groceries---give me a tiara too(plus a sceptre?), and I'm game. I've joked about this but I really did once wear a tiara(realistic costume jewel)while lugging the husband's golf clubs all over the green while he played a game. I dislike golf with a passion and this tiara thing has so far cured him of bugging me to accompany him again. Heehee.
