Looks nice. Clean and classic.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did." - Mark Twain
Hi Kevin,
Very, very Classy! I feel a man or woman would love them!
Pattye
so many pearls, so little time
P.S. Belated Happy Birthday! I thought you would be at least 30! (Based on---well, all the stuff you do and are! That is supposed to be a compliment.)
Wow, Kevin, those are stunning. I think they must look gorgeoous set against a crisp white shirt. With something like that, I bet I could get my husband to wear pearls.Any chances of making them a regular item?
Hi Kevin,
these cufflinks are very elegant and I think you should do them on a regular basis because if there is a man wearing that type of shirt cufflinks are needed and what more stylish could there be?
Beautiful!![]()
Those will be stunning on either a man or a woman. I would wear them- there are two white french cuff shirts in my closet that I'd wear more often if it weren't for the boring stock knotted fabric "cufflinks" that were on the shirt as purchased. My husband's flat cufflinks just don't do the trick on my shirts, especially when worn without a jacket/sweater.
Nice. They are pretty without seeming girlish on a man. Actually, since cufflinks are less noticeable, would it make sense to use less costly pearls - eg, moderate blemishing, less lustre?
Wishlist: 13mm GSSP earrings
Kevin,
Did you try them in a french cuff shirt yet? I hate using the standard silk-knot cuff links because the knot can be difficult to get through all four button holes of a french cuff. I think the smoothness of the pearls would be easier to work with than the roughness of the silk knots, but I can't tell what diameter the small pearls are and I wonder if they would be difficult to use.
That aside, they're gorgeous of course!

Beautiful and classic, Kevin!

Kevin
Those cuff links could convince me to get a French cuff shirt.
Very nice!!

Ohhhhh:
Cool cuff links. French cuffs? I could buy some new silk shirts to go with my pearls. Yummmm.
Bet they'd look good in salmon Freshadama, silver blue akoya, high orient white baroques.
Oh, oh, oh, what about copper colored tahitians?
My brother-in-law plays trombone for the symphony. I could wear them all the time!

Kevin: I love it!
Kevin these are gorgeous. I have several shirts in my wardrobe that I always need to wear with cufflinks, and yes, I usually go for the silk-knotted variety. The only "real" cufflinks I own are large enough for my husband to use as well.... if you had these in a more feminine size, I would definitely be up for a pair in black, and a pair in white baroques, and maybe just maybe something goldish.... you've just added considerably to my wish list. Oh, also, it is just coming into autumn here, so now would be a good time... just resureccting the long-sleeved wardrobe!
Lovely design - thanks for showing us!
Yes these cuff links look GREAT with a nicely pressed whit shirt. I don't have my notes in front me of me but I believe the large pearls are 12mm and the small pearls are 9mm.
9mm was the largest we could be and still have them work with a typical French cuff.
We also had the custom make the gold finding, so that with the large 12mm pearls it wasn't a cheap piece by any means.
I think I will make them a regular item, simply because I like them so much. I'm thinking I might make the large pearl a size smaller just to make them a little more affordable though.

Dear Kevin:
Would it be possible for both pearls to be 9mm or one 9 and one 10mm? Would that be large enough to hold the cuffs closed?
Would that give more options in type of pearl, color?
Thank you,
barbie
They're great Kevin.
Even the staid Englishman (doesn't wear jewellery of any kind, not even a wedding ring; but will wear cufflinks when necessary) I'm married to might wear those.![]()
