We have made that strand before. We actually called it the Pelosi. It was made with white South Sea, Golden, and Tahitian.

Just saw an interview with her on the evening news. She had that gorgeous necklace on. Either it is larger than 13mm or she is really petite----

I hope the new political direction in Washington will be as exciting as that absolutely stunning pearl necklace Nancy Pelosi was wearing today to her interview on CNN.

Those large white pearls in the front are barely smaller then the microphones in front of her in this picture... Even if the wearer looks fairly petite, those still look like 15mm-ish light yellow and white SS amid smaller but respectable respectable black pearls. It is the first with such mix o size and colors I came across even in pictures, I wonder if the lady had a hand in the design herself especially since there seem to be several necklaces in the same style in her pictures! (here's a smaller one with even-sized pearls).

Looks dead serious and intriguing - much like the wearer Thanks for pointing it out!

You are right, in the strand she is wearing the P. maxima do not match the Tahitians in size, but the average size of the strand appears to be in the 13mm range. I figure the strand has about 33 pearls and is a Princess length...
When we matched the strand it was designed with the same look in relation to length, but the South Sea's were matched in better according to size.

The necklace itself is great... but I do think it looks rather like the necklace is wearing her.

Wonder if Democrat fellowship would spark a trend for the integration of diverse pearls the way Hollywood movies do bling... 'Hope that wouldn't spawn a matching bracelet with a little donkey charm though!

Nancy Pelosi made front page photo today in The Oregonian, wearing a different pearl necklace, this one large cream color or lt golden ss. Very hard to tell from the photo. Nice size also!

I really love the look of this strand and we get quite a few requests for similar strands. I think her particular strand would suit her better if it were a bit smaller but it's very striking!
