    Default are these pearls?

    I found these inside Chesapeake Bay oysters. Are they pearls? They are each the size of an unpopped popcorn kernel.

    They could be pearls. All oysters can make pearls. They are not of any value, but yours are interesting looking. May we have a couple more photos from the other side?

    It's still very difficult to tell. A camera with a macro setting should be used, and they should be shot on a light background.
