It sounds like the holes may be drilled at 1mm. You can definitely use the heavier Beader's Secret if that's the case. I like to use it for ropes, because it gives a little extra heft to the piece.

I know I'm late to the game here, but I had to comment on the pearls - I love the colors! I have yet to complete a strand, but after seeing this I may give it another go sometime this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks, all, for the encouragement. I re-strung them last night using the heavier-weight Beader's Secret. MUCH tighter! No slipping and sliding and all knots stay outside the pearls

I've decided that I really like this length, so will leave it as is. I received 7 larger drops from Jacques that I was considering adding to the strand as accents, but I think they're gorgeous enough to reserve for a Tin Cup! My bank account's afraid that this is only the beginning .....

Oh - and the lovely circled drop earrings are from PP.

Marvelous! I really do prefer to use the heavier Beader's Secret on longer strands. You did a fantastic job!

Absolutely beautiful pearls and congratulations on your knotting! I just started with a much shorter strand and really uneven knots, yours looks quite professional! I know what you mean about your bank account...pearls are so addictive and thereare always good excuses around to treat oneself :-)

Ohhhh very nice!!! Like that length myself. Dangling earrings are cute with the little knobs on top or whatever they are called.

One project down, how many more to go? Great job on the restringing, although the original looked pretty good too! I will be patiently waiting to see the tin cup creation next!
