Well I think you look stunning in the gold - I totally agreed with the 'hand model' but I'd also add in 'necklace model ' !!

Yes! On both models! I'm in love with your 22k chain! So simple, yet elegant and regal!

I found this "pin" in my grandmother's file while cleaning my parents home. She was married to my grandfather for 50 years, then went on to marry her high school sweetheart at age 80 after reconnecting after 60 years. I believe that she had this pin made from her original wedding band. I have a few thoughts and would love some input. I could remake it into a ring or (which I would probably prefer) have a pearl peg placed on one end and a bail on the other to make a pearl pendant. Thoughts or ideas?IMG_1477.jpgIMG_1478.jpgIMG_1479.jpg

I would keep it as is and wear in on the collar of one of my blazer type jackets. It is beautiful as is and has such a nice story behind it. But if you don't wear pins, I totally get turning it into something you'd wear.

If you turn it into a pendant (or enhancer) with a pearl drop, it would not get the wear and tear a ring would have, and it might last longer.

It seems a bit small for a pin, although stickpins usually are small. I think it would show up better as part of a pendant.

How about a bracelet or necklace clasp? Would that be too complicated?

How about getting a large drop shaped pearl for the "stopper" end of the stick pin? This may sound crazy, but I have seen many people wear stick pins as earrings. It goes with the whole mis-matched earring craze...a stud in one ear and a stick pin in the other. You could do matching pearls, contrasting pearls, or a diamond stud, the stick pin and a pearl stopper. If the pin portion is too thick, that could easily be replaced. I love a beautiful stick pin to hold a pashmina.
