Loved seeing all these pics of peoples pets!
    Let me introduce my furbabies

This is our resident house panther Ozzy, he is a British Shorthair cross & he is huge!
    oz.jpg

My Honey, just an ordinary moggie but I couldn't not have her as she is a chocolate tabby & quite a rare color!
    hun.jpg

Angel is my newest addition. I rehomed her due to her owners being allergic to her, she is a sweet Burmese but she doesn't like my other two at all
    ang.jpg

My beautiful Lilac British Shorthair Cleopatra. Sadly no longer with us due to kidney disease so we had her put to sleep 10 months ago She hated all human beings apart from myself & she loved to wash my hair given half the chance! I really miss her & not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

And the kittehs are all beautiful. I love and remember all my dogs, cats and birds. Their little quirks endear me to them still.

What beautiful kitties! I hate it when the animals don't get along. I hope in time, your cats will appreciate each other's company. When my daughter graduated college, she brought her cat home. He did not like our kitty, Vader and hissed at him all the time. A year later, he is fine with him.

We had a little miraculous intervention a few weeks ago. Miss Reffi has been afraid of all the barking noise (and ear nipping!) of my daughter and grandson's new little gold rescue dog. Usually Miss Reffi likes to be the boss, but not this time. So while they've been barely getting along, it's been tenuous and cautious, with the little one alternating between ferocious barking ("don't dare look at me while I'm eating!") and ferocious barking ("why won't you play with me??? Perhaps I'll nip your ear to see if that catches your attention") .... So the other weekend, when we wrecked the axle on our travel trailer, we had so suddenly put Reffi in the dog kennel with our daughter's 2 dogs, as the cabin we switched to didn't allow dogs. Now, she'd only been out of our kennel 36 hours since we'd come home from CA, and wasn't so happy about this turn of events. The kennel asked if they could put the 3 dogs outside together and we said "Well, we guess so, but keep an eye out ..." To our great surprise they came home FRIENDS. We looked down to find the little gold one nuzzling and sorting around in the thick bushy end of Miss Reffi's tail, looking for ... ??? And Miss Reffi just let her! I guess they bonded over their humans being lost ... I do not expect this detente to last LOL ...

Briar is over a hundred in dog years now. He either can't hear me as well anymore or after all these years has decided to ignore me. He still hikes for a few miles everyday and jumps into the ocean several times a week for a swim with the sea lions. They all seem to get along and they haven't decided to eat him.... Love your latest pooch story, Cathy! Critter behavior is so fascinating.

Briar looks very fit for his age and very pleased with his "beautiful new" she-human!
