Thanks so much for the kind words ladies!

Mervione, I went over to PP and chose my strand. This strand was in the pile of 7-8. We measured throughout the strand and some were slightly under 8 or just a hair over 8.
I'm thinking that even though some are a bit over 8, the fact that some are less makes it go into the 7-8 category. Hope that helps!

Oh, I wish I could visit too... I think it maybe could be something you can request but with me wanting to request both a strong colour of the necklace and strong orient it might be wishful thinking...

Well, definitely worth asking, since itŽll be quite a big purchase for a student. I think IŽd rather be a picky, nagging costumer than to return the item, so better ask a lot than not to.
