| This bracelet seems to me to have Akoya and maybe also FW pearls on/it. It weighs a massive 64 grams of which I think at least half must be gold. I think it is amazing piece. I wouldn't have wanted to be the one doing all the wire wrapping. Opinions would be welcome. Ohh gold is 14k. Some of the pearls are over 10 mm, all different shapes and sizes. But I think it is rather special. The photos I have included only really show the pearls, not so much of the bracelet. Dawn |

| Hi Dawn, Looks like something a designer made for herself or perhaps a custom order---the triple link charm bracelets were the higher quality, with box insert clasp and safetys, maybe around the 70's even. Is there a company mark on the gold anywhere? I agree, the pearls look like akoya and maybe some fw---that is some weight indeed! Pattye so many pearls, so little time |

The drill holes are hidden by the hundred or so pearls which all have headpins in them with little flat heads hiding the bead holes. I think it is a very unusual bracelet but not long enough for me, pity. Dawn |

| I have the idea to make something derivative - start a bracelet and then add white pearls as I have odd ones left over until a chain is well covered. Not heavy gold, but in silver.......excuse me while I get started (even though nearly 9pm at night here, I cannot ignore a good idea) ![]() |
