Hello Everyone,
Happy New Year! Well, I finally got around to taking pictures of my freshwaters.

Pink and lavender Freshadamas for a side by side comparison. PP will be redoing the lavender set due to some matching issues, but it is so beautiful I decided to photograph it before returning it.

My morganite ring matches the pink Freshadamas perfectly. They look so good together! I love it!

My dyed baroque freshwaters. I think I'm going to return the strand on the right. I got it to make matching earrings and bracelet for the strand on the left, but I think the strand worn together with matching earrings and a bracelet may be too much.

The middle strand has alot of reds and copper. It's my favorite.

The left strand has a lot of blues and green.

I want to thank Caitlin who mentioned the macro setting on the camera in another thread. Now I can take closeups.

P.S. I am now looking for a kunzite ring, because I think it will match the lavender set very well.

The pearls are lovely especially the black one in the middle but I really love your morganite ring!

I really like your dyed baroque FW strands. May I ask where you purchased those? What size are the pearls?

Beautfiul all! I swooned over the red and copper overtones.

Wait til Caitlin sees those klonks! She's going to want some.

I love the pink strand! Well, I am the official pink freak. I assume you specified pink rather than peach overtones? It looks absolutely wonderful! Was it the 8-9 mm set you ordered, and do you find the size overwhelming for daily wear at all? I'm deliberating between a 8-9 mm strand or a larger one for special occasions. Looking at how gorgeous it is I might go smaller so I can wear them more often.

I think I should mess with my macro setting a bit more ... my photos seem to lack the metallic luster that you have captured ... I think I hear groans of protests at my picture spamming, LOL.

Thanks, Pearllove!

Gemgeek is not the only one swooning!! Those are all awesome! Love the variety of colors on the dyed fw. Great morganite ring also.

Hi Pearllove,
Where did you purchase the dyed FW baroque? They look gorgeous. I like the middle one too and am interested in where to buy. Thanks.

SpaceNeedle and Hanaleimom,
The dyed fw baroques are from Pearl Paradise. They are 11-12mm and AA+ quality. According to Natalie at PP they only had 5 strands of these baroques and they were not listed on the website. I just got lucky getting them. Here are pictures of the baroques from Natalie:

Raisondetre,
Yes, I ordered the pink 8-9mm Freshadamas. The color is peachy pink. I think the difference between the peach and pink Freshadamas is that the pinks are darker in shade than the peaches. I too was hoping to purchase the larger Freshadama sets (9-10mm), but both the pinks and the lavenders were sold out. However, I'm happy with the 8-9mm size. It does not look small (at least on me) and I didn't want to wait for PP to replenish its inventory of the larger Freshadamas because who knows when that will be. Also, I actually like the lavenders better than the pinks! I think the light lavenders are closer to the bubble gum pink color I am looking for.

Dear SpaceNeedle,
Do you like the third strand from the top? This strand has lots of purples. If you do, I will return it to PP and you can buy it.

Thank you but my strand is already on its way and I should get it tomorrow. Let me know when you get tired of the copper/red strand .

Wow, the black baroques are fantastic. There must be tons of stuff not on the website. If I lived in the US I would actually call regularly just to ask if there's anything on the inventory that's not on the website. It just never occured to me to ask for dyed black freshwaters. But I'm off to Shanghai in March/April, so hopefully I'll get some.

Yeh... I just learned today from Mia that they had intense silver freshadama stud earrings. This would be a nice alternative to Tahitian pearls on smaller size pearls for me.

I also emailed Mia to see if they had large AAA 12mm FW pearls in golden color and peacock (w/ strong green). If they do, I think I can complete my pearl earrings search.

Did you mean naturally gold/peach colored freshwaters, not dyed ones? The variation of colors is amazing. I was going to hold back on the Freshadamas till maybe next season, but these look so great I don't think I can suppress the urge. It's not healthy ...

Raisondetre,
Stop fighting the urge and just go for it! The Freshadamas are gorgeous and you can always get the larger ones later.
