I would put them in an antique dish and keep them where I can see them...too pretty!
is just stunning...the picture doesn't do it justice. 11.6 x 11.5 - tissue nucleated - natural colour. Wheee!
I agree with purlgurl, why not peruse era paintings?
These are so lovely, another wish list begins....
this thread has been so interesting. Wouldn't it be fabulous to find a pair of "pistachio" drops to make into earrings? Yummm!
oooo, this is so tempting!
In the new movie "Julie and Julia" pearls are worn almost exclusively. I wonder however, if graduated pearls weren't more available during that time period? 1949 +
Just gorgeous
sigh...it's hard to separate the man from his pearls....lol,
Thanks for the pics. There are so many beautiful and interesting combinations to be made.
Its been so cold, wet and rainy here it's a pleasure to see something so warm, inviting and informative at the same time. Thanks!
Wow! my two favourites - pearls and opals! this is cool
The anticipation is killing me! .... must see clasp!
Hi there Crazy! I'm a redhead too ... lol. Your best bet is to try them on, daylight is best but halogen is ok too. You'll just know when you see them on you. I have pure white FW pearls as well...
Here is a small photo of part of my workbench. I'm squeezed in between a workshop and photo studio. I use antique dishes for my projects as well as a 1930's table.
Nice going! I've passed the link on to a couple of filmmakers for their enjoyment!
It looks like the one on the left is Tahitian...what a good exercise!
This isn't about jewellry but I fell in love with a gorgeous antique secretaire with very slender turned legs, one of a kind (I'm talking about furniture here). Sigh...never saw another one.
The listing was wayyyy too wordy. I skip listings like this because I honestly think they have something to hide. Keep it short, sweet and accurate.
Thank you for sharing your lovely pearl with us maryred!
This must be the world's heaviest carpet!
Glad you love them!
Thanks for the link MWP! What an interesting video!
lol no problem. It hasn't been sunny enough to try the experiment again. Will keep trying!
