I use only this thread. Tried some others but nothing comes close in strenght/easyness of using. If there only was a little thinner option available. The knots are too big for stringing small size...

You are right, it is probably too heavy for wearing as a brooch. The "hiding" bail led me to question if it is wearable that way. I know why the bail is hiding though ;)
