| It's amazing how the lavenders always photograph more saturated. I'm not sure if the background color actually makes it seem darker. But the coiled pictures certainly look very good. The pink ones are actually from Cathy. Stock pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Hi, I bought pearls from eBay seller PearlLunar. I must say, I am not very pleased. The pearls are not what was shown. I bought a wholesale lot of 3 strands of 7mm white with gold and rainbow orient round pearls for $69. The pearls that I received are very slightly graduating from approx 5 to 6mm, they are not round, but off round. The lustre is very nice, however, though they say the pearls are AAA with no blemishes, I can see some on almost every pearl. In short, in my opinion they sent me the wrong pearls, as they have an auction for 3 strands of 5-6mm pearls at the price of $49 that match the pearls I received 100% . I contacted PearlLunar stating all the points. They emailed me back the same day, saying that the pearls are as described and shown on the image. However they are not! I am not blind, and I can see that they are totally different. They said that I can send them back for a full refund (minus postage), but they need to receive them as soon as possible, so they said to sent back express delivery (that will cost me $15-$18, I live in UK). I told them that I am happy to keep the pearls, they are very nice, however that I think they are the pearls they sell for $49, and I would be happy if they just refund the difference. They haven't replied back yet. I don't think they are going to come to an agreement with me, they just keep saying that the pearls I received are those listed. So, my advice - stay away. I agree the pearls look stunning on the image, but that it is what you receive matters. In my case, the seller was very unhelpful. Best wishes, Lilia |

| I'm really sorry to read about your problems with them. I was just about to buy something from Pearllunar but would hold off now given your poor experience.. I hope they will do the right thing and refund the difference to you. Do keep us posted on the progress. Best of luck. |

| That is certainly very off-putting. They should not have dismissed your complaint so quickly. Have you emailed them a picture of what you got? If you do that, place a ruler or a coin in the photo to help show the size of the item you received. They ought to refund all your return shipping if the mistake was theirs-- maybe if you can prove that to their satisfaction, they will make this right. |

| Hello Lilia, Sorry to hear of your problem, and I hope that Pearllunar resolve it for you. It would seem a shame for them to lose so much potential business over this. I wonder if they read these boards? |

| I thought I read somewhere that there were several sites with similar names... Pearluna (w/ 1 L), Pearlluna (w/ 2 Ls), Pearlunar, etc. Please confirm if the website you are having trouble with is indeed Pearlluna (w/ 2 Ls). |

| I JUst ordered from these guys. I will report back when I get my purchase. Spaceneedle is right about the different pearllunas- so lets get that straight. At least 2-3 people have ordered from them so far, with decent results- so experiment if you are inclined, but don't order too much. If they cheat, we can let them know that the biggest pearl informational site in the world is breathing down their necks. muah haha

| I haven't ever purchased from pearllunar, and have only found their store through this forum. The plump rice pearl photos look pretty fantastic, though! I'm not sure who posted the link to apex_pearls - I have used their ebay store quite a few times - they are probably the only ebay seller from whom I have received consistent quality. I have found though that the diamaters listed are very much on the "Chinese" side - I don't own calipers, but I would guess at least a half millimetre to one millimetre smaller than stated. I have a couple of multicoloured almost round strands from apex_pearls that have been simply stunning. What has everyone else's experience with them been like? Nerida. |
