| I really don't know how people find anything on ebay anymore. I buy from one store that I know and trust but, after that it seems like you have to comb through a sea of junk to find something that *might* be decent. For example, my favorite stone is fire agate. A few years ago, a search for fire agate would produce maybe 70 hits. Typed in just now, you get 994 hits. Most of which are pure junk. Pearls? Even worse. So I'm curious, what search terms do you guys use to cut through the junk? |

| One thing I do, is that under "Sort by" I choose "Price: highest first." That way I weed out all of the $0.99 auctions. Also I try to eliminate words that I'm not looking for by using the minus (-) sign. For example: "pearl necklace -akoya -tahitian -south -ss" (I just made up this example). If there are a lot of junky sellers using a particular term, this is a great way to eliminate them. And I take the recommendations of posters to this forum. Also, one of the reasons that I took a chance on that last eBay seller from China was that he was selling pearls of different grades and different prices rather than just listing everything as AAA. I realize that this is not a reliable method at all, but I took a chance. I think it would be great if people on this forum shared more of their favorite eBay sellers. I plan to post mine if I ever find any good ones. Nicole |

| The best and the worst of eBay are discussed here on a regular basis. There is nothing against discussing any sellers...

| Thanks Jeremy what I think about ebay buying is here : http://reviews.ebay.com/BUYING-PEARL...00000002059368 Any improving on the guide is welcome and my favorites sellers are in my feedbacks, reading feedbacks is the best way to find good sellers. Besides this consideration, ebay is not the only place to find good sellers, there are some overthere on that forum ![]()
