| I've been looking at Tahitian necklaces, the baroques to be more specific. I'm a pretty cautious shopper especially when I'm not as knowledgeable as I'd like to be. I ran across an ebay power seller with outstanding feedback, however sometimes I feel he's not answering all my questions as they were asked.. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of pearl_society? Their ebay store is Allure Collections, here's a link to their store:http://stores.ebay.com/ALLURE-COLLEC...QQftidZ2QQtZkm Appreciate your input!! | They have been discussed here several times. They are very dishonest in their descriptions. They invented some fairy tale called 'suspended planting' for one of their lines (http://cgi.ebay.com/27K-SUSPENDED-PL...QQcmdZViewItem) and have been deceiving unsuspecting customers for years. A definite, absolute thumbs down. Maybe you can get a decent strand at a decent price from those guys, but if they are clearly liars, why would you want to take the chance.

| Thank You Jeremy(two time customer of yours by the way), their excellent feedback is probably due to selling to less knowledgeable people like me. I was negotiating a tahitian baroque bracelet and starting asking more specific questions in regard to the quality of the pearls(A-D). I was told they usually don't rate these type of necklaces. The "red flag" went up bigtime!!! Thanks for the quick response!! |
