| It does look good. That would be one crazy stringing job. One question, though. It is 97 inches and from the visible pearls it appears as though the pearls are dispersed in more of an even fashion. Do they line up on either side? This seems the best way to make the piece more of a 'consistent' line to me. Then again, I have not made a lot of ropes!

| Wow, it's really nice. And the larger randomly placed pearls really make it special. Does it have any hidden clasps anywhere? If it were a regular item, I'd think that might be a selling feature so that it could be more versatile for the wearer. |

As for a clasp, it has a just a basic white gold ball clasp which I really like, but I guess some do not. To me the emphasis should be on the pearls and not on the clasp so I like to keep things basic. Personally I find hidden and mystery clasps just kind of cheesy so I tend to stay away from them, unless a customer asks specificly for one. I think I run this as a regular product I'll give the option to use a clasp or make it an infinity strand. Thanks for the input guys/girls! If you have any other suggestions let me know. |

| I think this is basically a great idea. Personally I would like more variety; a few more of the larger size and some 8-9mm to break the 6-7mm runs and make it more of an "organic" whole. As it stands, all the larger pearls contribute is a "look at ME. I'm bigger than you!". I think more variety in pearl size would also make a more interesting two/three strand necklace. A four strand is a bit over the top for me - even for the opera- and sadly I just don't have the ankles for a one strand! What I love about this necklace is that it takes us a step away from the little black dress and pearl necklace comfort zone and a step towards an appreciation of pearls in all their varieties- even if the only variable is the size of the pearls used. You mentioned the size as different but were the pearls comparable in other aspects? |

| I would imagine that the most time consuming part would be the blending of the pearl strands. It would be a combination of nearly 6 loose strands. Also, could you imagine if you made a mistake half-way through? I would guess it would take about 2 hours. Kevin - you were my inspiration today. I tried putting together a Tahitian rope. Did one in 36", 10-12mm, and now I am going to try to make a 72" as well.
