As I was attempting to figure out how and what to include in my shipping of my pearls to GIA I was bored and decided to browse their website. I was wondering if anyone else knew that GIA offers a graduate pearl diploma... I thought that was pretty cool. I really used to know close to nothing about pearls until I started visiting this website and I found the more I learned the more I wanted to. Was wondering: has anyone taken this course?

Yes, I have a graduate pearls diploma. They are just now in the middle of rewriting the course to bring it up to date. If you have read most of this site, though, you will have a good idea of what's in the pearl course. The lab class for pearl grading was a lot of fun.

Yes, quite a few people on this forum have taken it. I believe there is a thread on here specifically discussing the course.
