The GIA site also sells it for $115, I think. Just go to http://www.gia.edu and under the catagories is a tab "instruments and books. Click on that, and at the bottom of the page just enter Strack. The book should pop right up.

Good luck.

Direct LINK to book

I have been meaning to email her. I will email her today and see if there is a new 'better' way of getting the book.

Hey, if it is on the GIA's Site, that is easy enough. The price is about right as well, considering what they were charging for shipping from Germany.

Yeah, I thought to order from there myself, but the shipping to Japan on top of it makes me hesitate. Maybe I will have it sent to my parents and have them forward it on at some point. Would love to get it though.

Mrs. Strack wrote a truly amazing book, but she told me the publisher gave her some trouble with distribution. I ordered a few copies from the G.I.A website, and they arrived promptly. Good luck and happy reading.

They still sell it. The Gia should have it in their education section. We also have some other email addresses in Germany for Strack herself and her publisher on other threads in this section.

GIA has been out of it for awhile...I think her publisher is the only way to obtain this right now.

Here are two suggestions: Abebooks.com has a few available for sale on their website. Also, Rio Grande has it listed in their 2008 "Tools & Findings" catalogue, page 80, # 550-811. Their phone number is 800 545-6566; or try riogrande.com
