| Hi everyone!, I'm new to this board and new to the hobby as well. I wanted to expand my knowledge about pearls especially about southsea pearls. I was looking for a book at amazon.com, but there are to many choices. Can somebody here recommend a nice book to start with ![]() |

| Here is a list of good ones to start with: Pearl Bibliography If you want to buy pearls, read one of the buying guides listed. A book that will really give you the history of pearls before the advent of cultured pearls is the one by Kunz. Or for a nice picture book try, "People & Pearls" Like pearls themselves, you need more than one.
