| When you log in tick the box "remember?". That should fix the problem.

| One trick I use for issues like this is to quickly copy and paste the text into a Word document before hitting submit. Then, if anything happens like a time-out or lost network connection, you still have your work. Another great side benefit is the automatic spell checker! |

| There is a spell checker in the box where you write posts. It is that check mark at the top left. You click on it the first time and it takes you to a site where you can download an IE spell check for free. When it is installed you can check your spelling right in the post. I like that. I had the same problem with writing a post then losing it- I even did it with a long thoughtful post answering a J Marcus post. Now I am trained to click that remember box. I have to log out and then log in as Admin, so I have to remember that every single time. I also use the cut and paste technique with long posts now- just in case. I hate trying to recreate a post I just lavished time and energy on. Maybe in the new Pearl Guide forum, there will be a subforum for technical questions such as this and how to post pictures. etc.

| Thanks to all three of you, That all sounds like good advice. I'll try those things. I'm sure that will clear up the problem. Thanks again, J Marcus http://www.flyrodjewelry.com/home.html |
