Hello,
I am from Bahrain, which is one of the best sources of Natural Pearls; my family has been in this lovely field for more than 150 years. We have unique and one of a kind pearls, some are loose and others are put in lovely designs with diamonds and other precious stones. We also have many necklaces, some that took more than 10 years to complete. All our pearls are certified natural pearls from Bahrain’s Laboratory, which is one of the best laboratories in the world. So if anyone is interested, please feel free to email me.

Thanks,
Natural Pearls

Welcome to this forum. I hope you will share lots of photos of Bahraini pearls with us. I would love to hear your descriptions of the colors and shades of Bahraini pearls too. That would be very educational.

What part of the pearling business has your family been in?

Any information and images you are willing to provide this forum would be welcome, if not revolutionary (if indeed we are speaking of renewed harvest!).

The first three are beautiful, but this one is more my cup of tea. I like irregular! What a gorgeous pearl and a pretty setting. My budget is tied up in education and travel this year, but it's nice to know where to find such lovely natural pearls. For now, I love being able to see them. Thanks so much.

Why are you still awake?
In our region, people would rather buy a perfect round pearl lets say which is 5 cts then buy an irregular one which is maybe double the weight. I personally like both, they both have their own uniqness.

I should be asleep, true!

Again, the pearl in the swan pin is much more to my liking. I love the color and movement on the surface. Perhaps for me, the beauty is in the fact that they don't look like cultured pearls.

GemGeek: Thats exactly why many customers choose the baroque or the irregular ones. They look nothing like cultured pearls.
All the pearls I have posted are older than a year, the divers just found a very nice button 2 months ago. will post it tomorrow!
Have a good night!

Hi Natural
We have a person on this board who thinks the new batch of Bahraini naturals showing up on the market, are from Borneo. What is your word on that?

Hi NaturalPearls,

What lovely pieces! Thank you for posting the pictures and detailed info. It is great to see a natural pearl collection!(versus a collection of titles).

I would still advise anyone who is wanting to buy naturals to double check the certificates with the lab that issued them.

Can you please give us a mini-tutorial about the colours these natural pearls come in? The Arabic equivalent would be nice too. I personally did not think there were as many colours as you mentioned. We are all craving to know more about these natural wonders, so anything you can tell us is much appreciated.

Slraep

NaturalPearl-

Those are some really very lovely pearls indeed! I love alot of the settings, too. They look so intricately crafted; each piece I see is the work of an artist!
