Hi everyone,

I am not sure where to exactally put this subject, I guessed the almighty Peral gods(ess) Please move as you see fit.

Anyway.

I am dabbling with the idea of a woodworking project that involves inlay. I have Ideas for pieces of furniture, that would be great for the ambiance at events.

I am doing preliminary searching to see what is available.

I would like to start with smaller projects such as pen-cases, Jewellery and storage boxes including one for the cooler work my way up to the "big chair" !

Does anyone know wher I may be able to find MOP for inlay??? Can be either real or faux.

Real is preferred for the "wow" factor But I will be happy with what is available.., not too much of a hastle to ship etc...and not illegal to have in the US or Canada ya know that kind of thing.

Thanks in advance

Ash

You can find some on Alibaba.com or maybe these guys can help.

Also Fukui shell company makes MOP tiles and polished shell products. And they do inlay on furniture already. Maybe you can check with them.
