A hairdresser returned home Mother's Day to discover her home being robbed in Bullitt County, Kentucky. (I'm guessing that's just outside Louisville.) http://www.wlky.com/news/16244215/detail.html

Guns a'blazin', the hairdresser scared them off and they dropped most of their loot -- but a pearl necklace her daughter was going to wear to be married in hasn't been recovered.

Hope it was Mikis.

Wow! Gutsy woman! Thanks for posting this, Knotty Panda! I do hope her daughter's pearl necklace is recovered too and before the wedding day!

Hi Knotty and Amrita,

normally I am against any kind of weapons but it certainly feels good to read the police got the burglars, especially as they probably have done this kind of things many times before. A pity the pearl necklace is gone..
