Sorry, my mistake. I did buy heaps of bead nucleated, but this are all-nacre. Sorry for the confusion.

Well done Nerida! Great pearls too. What thread did you use for these big, bold, baroques?

I can't really get a feel for the size without a neck-shot. You must get someone to help you so we can really appreciate their klonkiness!

They are on 4 strands of 10lb powerpro - on double strand, then threaded back through to knot. I love this technique - knots sit perfectly and I feel secure...

Re the neck shot - you mean someone to help me by stretching out the wrinkles??

LOL - That wasn't quite the answer I expected! Okay, if the neck is a sensitive issue, place it around another woman's neck for the photograph, being sure to snatch it back before said wearer gets any ideas...

No, it's not that bad - but I will get a girlfriend to take some photos this evening.

These are bead nucleated FW klonks - stacks of lustre, but klonk-ish nevertheless! 13.4 - 16.2mm!

Hi Nerida,

very well done, snug knots nestling to each pearl....
Are you sure they are bead nucleated? No tails and as they are baroque they truly could be 100% nacre - nice klonks with fine orient!

Ditto! Heavens! That neck shot clears up any confusion about being klonk-worthy, and they are luminuous. Also, you have a nice tanned neck which supplies the preferred contrast!

Now Wilma Flintstone is getting competition IŽd say. They are really huge and great orient too! 100% nacre - the very best you could get! Congratulations!
