I'd like to formally invite all designers here on the pearl forum to participate in our new Designers' Market.

Our designers' market is completely dedicated to designers world-wide who feature pearls in their unique designs. This presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for designers to immediately have their items displayed and sold to a world-wide audience, without having to worry about maintaining an eCommerce website or filling orders.

I'd also appreciate any feedback about this new section. We've launched it as of today, so there's lots of room for improvement, and I'm sure there's an error or two on it.

Compared to Galatea, I wouldn't make the grade as a designer, but I will enjoy seeing what does make the grade.

My goal is to have a large number of designers, both newbie as well as established. The designs don't have to compete at the Galatea level, but they do have to be unique and exhibit a high quality of workmanship.

I'm hoping that as we get new designers on-board, we can have contests in design as well as get people to vote on their favorite designs/designers.

Yes, I think a "design of the month" is a great idea once we have more designers.
