I just received a new piece from one of our designers, Nancy B. Norton. I think it is just incredible. This is a great example of something that can be done without special manufacturing techniques.

Terry, Those are beautiful. It is amazing what artists are doing with lampwork beads these days. Rosebuds!

Yes, they are lampwork beads, with garnets above.

What a great idea! A good opportunity for new ideas and designs for pearls. After viewing some of our members designs, I think we could nurture some from here to join your unique design market. I can't wait to shop.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Here's an idea, what if we (TPO) put together a Pearl Guide Member category? This might work if we had six or so members who were interested in doing one design each...

Any interest?

Terry, if I can get up the money to make a piece I think somebody would actually purchase and if I meet your quality construction standards, and if I don't have to use my real name (too embarrassed) I'd do a piece. What kind of quantity are we talking about? That sure is a lot of if's, ain't it. Oh, another question. What price point are you aiming for?

Hi PG-members!

I look foward to see your designs. The rosebud earrings are very sweet and nice to see that there is someone not being afraid och mixing and matching!

Get to it Girls and Guys from this forum - letīs show the professional designers what you can do!

pattye, I'm so looking forward to seeing your ideas!

This is exciting! Ok, let's put together a section just for PG's. We'll need 6 or more people with at least one item each. I can help with sourcing pearls and with pictures if need be. Just PM me.

If you're in, fill in as much as you can of this form, and fax, email, or mail it to me. Just copy and paste the text into an email or into Word and fill it out, or even print it and send it.

A single piece that can be duplicated is always best (though there can be exceptions.) This keeps costs down for the customer since only one photo has to be taken and less work is involved in putting it up on the web. You'll want one piece for us (TPO) to keep in inventory and one piece on hand to send when the first sells. We'll programmatically limit the sales to the number you can provide.

For price point... rather than limit designs to a certain price point, I think it is more important to stress the fact that you don't want to over-price an item. The less expensive a quality item is, the greater the salability.
