| oooOh, very pretty! I would love to know how to make these and I LOVE the look of the 'S' with a bit of a hammered look. We have one more clasp to test, and if this one is a bust too...I'll take somebody up on the offer of a rolled gold one. I'll tell her she's been the topic of conversation amongst all the pearl folks. That should tickle her pink! Thanks yall for your help. ![]() |

| Hi Danachit, here the links I got from Cathybear: http://www.conniefox.com/Education/W...ls/SimpleClasp. htm http://jewelrymaking.about.com/libra...y/aa080398.htm http://beading.consumerhelpweb.com/basics/funwire.htm http://jewelrymaking.allinfoabout.co...andclasps.html http://jewelrymaking.about.com/libra...y/aa041299.htm http://jewelrymaking.about.com/library/n_080398.htm http://jewelrymaking.about.com/od/wi.../ss/041107.htm http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-making-tools.htm Quote: I printed out the ones I liked so I could refer to them easily if I needed to. Donīt forget the pencil-as-a-mandrell-tip, it made a huge difference and I thought it up myself. Wire comes in round, half round and square. Iīve only used round, square looked interesting but it cost more. Side cutters are important too, for a good clean cut. The ones I just got happened to be slanted (angled) but they work fine and cut better than my older ones. Quote I hope the links are working and of some help.
