Thanks for the info.
As it happens, I already use FireMountain gimp, and the only problem I ever had was with the clasp with no bolt ring.
Not really a problem, as the gimp didn't part, just kind of tried to and that was after several wearings of the necklace.
Love the idea of the coin pearl with the Victorian keys, too - inspired design.

Now I am REALLY freightened of knotting because I have to learn to GIMP too! Yikes!! Anyway Danachit, would you please, if you feel like it, post a photo of your coin pearl and key necklace? That sounds so charming and lovely. Funny, now that you mention it, I remember hearing a lot more about those "pearly gates" as a child. I must have absorbed that message subliminally at least!
