Itīs apparantly a standard to bleach pearls that are going into white strands, I noticed the other day that a few pearls in my exotics are white, and they arenīt bleached. Iīm wondering if naturally white pearls are rare since they have to bleach them? Itīs such a shame because I want my pearls to be as natural as possible.

Even the white ones are bleached, unfortunately. But I have found some great unbleached ones in the past. The first time I collected exotics in Weitang the white ones were some of the best.
