Hi There!

A friend in the business needs a simple white gold ball clasp - preferably 18k white and the diameter needs to be 15mm. She can't find anything that big, and neither can I. Does anyone know a source for enormous ball clasps?

Thanks.

Grassman-Blake has some 14MM in 14kt. Did you try Rio Grande?

She specifically mentioned calling Rio Grande - no luck. Hey, but 14mm might work. I'll check into it.

Thanks KP

I haven't dealt with them personally, but NY Findings has some on their website - 15 mm 18k white (also 15.5 mm and 16 mm, in platinum, 14k and 18k yellow and white gold):

To enlarge the picture, click on the lower right hand corner. There may be others - they have a lot of stuff on their site!

Thanks Perle! Yay! I knew someone would come through. And thanks again to Knotty Panda for finding better sizes than I could find! I'm sure my friend will be very impressed with the power of the pearl guide group.

I usually say them but I have so often recently I thought I'd plug someone else for a change ! Let me know if she buys from them. I've gotten quotes and found them to be very pricey and rude folks. I hate their return policy. I'm curious about her experience with them.

I'll see what she says. They won't have return customers if they keep acting the way they did with you!

I like it. I think she has a strand of 15mm South Sea Pearls that this is going on. Does your clicking clasp work on a full strand?

Hello GemGeek,
Have a look at a white pearl strand with this hand hammered interchangeable clasp.
Any strand can be converted into an interchangeable necklace very easily.
And this hand hammered ball can be made in any diameter, silver, yellow and white gold as well.
