I recently received my father's pearl cufflinks and tie clip. They are in a box with the name Tokuriki Honten, Kanda, Tokyo. Has anyone heard of this jeweler or have any knowledge of this jeweler?

Tokuriki Honten is not really a jeweler per se. This is actually a large gold bullion trading house in Tokyo Japan. I know that they do more than trade bullion as they are fabricators as well, and were once famous for oval-shaped gold bars as small as 5 g simulating old currency. But I have not heard of them making tie-tacks and cuff-links with pearls.
Do you happen to know how old the set is? Is there any Japanese writing on the box that you can scan and upload here?
