I found some interesting pieces that I like.

Any comments on their products and services?

I've known of the website for a little time but I never heard any reports good or bad, so I'm interested also.

The only thing that bothers me about the site is the ".biz" domain name which is typically associated with spammy websites, not always but usually.

They are listed with the BBB with no complaints though.

Thank you Kevin. Do you mind sharing your opinions on the pricing and the quality of their pearls based on the pictures on their site?

Nothing about the pics or pricing immediately jumps out at me as odd or off putting, so take that as you will.

Is there a particular piece you have your eye on?

Hi
They seem to be legitimate and have a good return policy. that means you can buy, compare and return if you don't like it.

What did you see that you liked?

I had not seen this company before, but nothing looks out of place. The prices and product seems reasonable enough.

The pearls in the picture are likely the first option (gem quality) that is out of stock. The pictured pearls in the picture have good color and medium luster - although the luster may be better but with the photography it is hard to tell.

The second option, from what I understand from the description, is what we would call pearls with a clean face. This means that the front side of the pearl is clean, but there is blemishing on the sides or back.

When buying pairs of Tahitian pearls or making pairs of Tahitian pearls a lot of wholesalers will match pearls with clean faces but blemishing on one side. It is a good option to bring the cost down on a pair of pearls. These types of pearls are used extensively in pieces with large cups (like pendants) that will cover the majority of the blemishes. In graded lots these pearls would likely fall in the A/B to B range (using Tahitian A-D) or AA+.

This is what I see based on the description and details. It is difficult to be certain, however, as the Web site lacks a grading page that explains the criteria in detail, and the items themselves lack this too. That does not mean there is anything wrong with them, however.

Here is a link to our Tahitian pearl grading page that explains the same thing.

I finally decided to try them out because they were the only online-seller I found who had a pair of 12mm peacock tahitians. Here's the link to the post with the photo of the pearls...Deep/Strong peacock overtones?

I received my gorgeous earrings today. They were lovelier than the pearls shown in the photo. I still don't know if these pearls were considered to have strong peacock overtones ... but I am so happy with the transaction and the pearls that I don't really care at this point.

Those are gorgeous! I'm not an expert, but in my humble opinion (just having returned from perusing thousands of pearls in Tahiti and nearby islands), I'd say the peacock is very strong.

One of them is AAA and the other one is AA+ with small blemishes on the back and not visible from the front.
