| Hi this is my first post. Very nice and informative site. I recently inherited alot of very fine jewelly. Where does one go to get a pearl necklace appraised? I think its from the early 40's or maybe older. Here is a picture of some of the items, i believe the metals to be Platinum. Anything anyone can tell me? | Wow. That is a big photo! They could be cultured, but they are not natural. It is difficult to be definitive. I see there are some loose knots, can you peer down the drill hole? Have you attempted the tried but true tooth test method?
