Hi this is my first post. Very nice and informative site.

I recently inherited alot of very fine jewelly. Where does one go to get a pearl necklace appraised? I think its from the early 40's or maybe older.
Here is a picture of some of the items, i believe the metals to be Platinum.
Anything anyone can tell me? I know nothing about pearls.

They could be cultured, but they are not natural. It is difficult to be definitive. I see there are some loose knots, can you peer down the drill hole? Have you attempted the tried but true tooth test method?

Cant see down the hole too easy. yes I did the tooth test and they are for sure real.
