Hi guys I'm new here! Hope to get to know you!

Anyway, recently Jewelmer has been posting some stuff on their facebook about imitation pearls like dugong, osmenda etc but I was just wondering if you have any pictures of these imitation pearls? I really would like to know what these look like. Hope you can help!

Hi Alamedic,

Welcome! Jewelmer's postings have interested me also! I do have some "osmena pearls" their spelling of osmenda is new to me. Linking you to another thread here http://www.pearl-guide.com/forum/pearls-ebay-q/1646-osmena-sea-cortez.html Please check both pages for photos-----------

The strands of pearls are natural blue akoya. The osmenas shown are also a similar beautiful silver blue color, their natural color. Also white is a natural color. As jewelmer mentioned, Osmena are actually cut from the Nautilus shell.
