I also found it interesting Nick's comment about Americans not understanding pearls. I tend to agree but I think that is changing in the US Luxury market.

I thought it was spot on. Compared to a general 'pearl culture' which exists here, I think the US market is sluggish, and has an affinity for different things. I am always surprised when Jeremy says he sells loads of 7mm pearls - I can only sell them here as children's jewellery. We like our pearls large, and baroque over small and round!
The video was on my newspaper's front page online yesterday - Nick P looking as dashing as always...
