I'm first I think!? Though I'm usually in the market for large pearls I wanted something more delicate this time. Here's what I decided to get after looking for just 10 minutes. Good luster medium orient.

I noticed there are already a few sold already.

I bought two, and I am wondering what all the different levels mean..is good better, or worse than medium? I don't know

I ordered two..greed hit me. It is all I can do not to order more. Mine arehttp://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1733 and http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1751

But I notice one doesn't say it was sold yet. They must be having a time keeping up with the orders. I DID get the confirmation email for both, so hopefully there is no snafu with multiple orders like last time.

I noticed a few had sold already too. I was constantly refreashing my email, and it must have been 10:01 at the latest when I clicked the link. So I am not sure how it could have sold, and been marked as sold so quickly.

Oh, god, I bought 3. I was in such a frenzy I didn't notice the ratings at the side, but in my calmer state now I checked them over and didn't do too bad. 2 lightly blemished (one with intense orient) and one that's blemished (though it looked good on the screen so I'll have to see, but I loved the pic). I wanted rounder and wild and I got that. Mine are:

aerhina, looks lovely, all the three. The middle one I had considered, but having already bought two..I had to put my credit card down.

Can't wait to see what the others got.

I set my alarm clock but it hadn't arrived by 3am, so I went back to sleep. Thank goodness I jerked awake at 3.30am. Barely blinked and almost all the good ones were gone!

I love the ones aerinha got - those would have been my choice. But I got these:

http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1778

http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1783

Or at least I hope I got them.

Now busy combing through what else I missed. Sad, I know.

Too bad I missed the larger strands ... can't wait for the rounds. Hope Jeremy's farm isn't too affected by the flood.

I was also really greedy, and got 3. One of mine does not say sold on it, but if you try and add it to your cart, it gives a popup saying that it is out of stock. I wanted a little extra length on my necklace, and matching earrings, so I got 2 strands, and then I decided on a second necklace b/c I like the multiple strand look so much.

My two favorites were already gone by the time I saw them, lol - so whoever grabbed 100 and 135, congrats to you!

Here are my strands: http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1755 http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1752http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1730

I asked to have the best pearls of all 3 strands strung together on the 20" necklace, so I am excited to see what it will look like!

Thanks for the support guys. Will need you when the bill comes Crowed a bit too soon as mid this message Kirsten emailed me to say 157 was already claimed by another. I think I've ordered another strand, but will wait to see. The downer is 157 was the roundish one I liked best it had a tealy quality, sigh, that's how it goes. The upshot is if I get my next choice it's clean and not lightly blemished, though it has slight orient and 157 had medium, and it's a larger mm size. At least my intense orient is still mine.

Do we know who got the silver/aqua one (top left strand on page 1)? I was going to ask if Boo carried off the honors again, but that wasn't one she posted.

Will post strand 3 if it's actually mine. Stay away Kirsten emails...

Oh, yeah, did I mention I'm at work right now while I'm doing all this?

Meh, #155 was sold out after all. Never mind. I added this:

http://www.pearlparadise.com/detail.aspx?ID=1769

Hopefully it's still available.

I can't imagine the frenzy when the exotic colors come out ...

lol! I am pleased by my choices, but I can't wait to see them in person. The photos always make all the pearls look amazing. There were several strands I saw that looked like they had beautiful colors, but the description said the orient was slight

I do feel for you and Raisondetre - it was hard enough trying to whip through the detail pages and try to make decisions in the middle of the day - it must be even more of a whirlwind experience when you have to wake up in the middle of the night to do it! I am glad you managed it and ended up with some very nice strands!

I found it tough to do quickly too, but fun!
Yes some of the pearls that said "slight" did look very colorful in the photos.

Oops just checked, didn't see any.
