I admit that was not the rigorous part of the study, but short of the near disqualifying oversight of not mentioning the role of champagne in freshwater mussel research particularly on summer evenings including sharing said beverage with said bivalves by preparing them a hot bath of it spiced with healing herbs like freshly crushed garlic and chopped parsley and subsequent devouring of said bivalves, it was a rather pleasant read.
